Daily Duties at Custom Craft Company:

Initiated inventory control and production control management system, creating job control module, according sales orders organized from accounting department, deploying scheduled batch to prepare materials by integrating material picking management module which will calculate material usage, producing optimized material usage volume. The system improved the material picking process, because warehouse can locate the inventory very easily with material picking batch report. Due to calculating the more accurate usage with analysis of wastage, scrapage and flexible alternative of different material, the warehouse low down the wastage rate and help accounting department can analyze more accurate material usage. Completed the automating purchase order issuing process according to current status of inventory and required volume in the future three month. Took advantage of standard deviation rate analysis, acquring more accurate possible usage during the specific inventory requirement, and retrieve back-end SQL database to determine the priority of placing orders by popularity, color attribute and cutting process. The whole process is not only decreasing the overstock issue but also decreasing the error-prone data entry manually. As a EDI specialist, I worked with accounting department, dealing all EDI documents routing, translation process. I took care of the surveys about VAN service provider. Initiate the project for automating payment application process from routed remittance documents; the system include business logic check during uploading the SQL database via EDI process, generated the error log report when system happened to some wrong information format, along with some posting queries and analysis report, so user will not be occupied with data entry and data verification process. I also took care of coordination task between VAN service provider, users and wholesalers, when there were having EDI communication issue with VAN service, or discrepancy issue on payment or charges occurred at EDI documents where we communicated with our wholesaler. Customized AP/AR customer register report and aging report, enhance system functionality on reports, query, payment application, checking issuing / printing modules, which is our commercial accounting package. Helped with IT department at the child company from the group, doing ACCOUNT MATE commercial package setup, implemetation and some additional requirement from users via management. Migrate original foxpro data tables to SQL server database, building up some client AP/AC register report, aging report and some add-on functionalities which downloaded/uploaded from or into another SQL server, processing some queries and reports. Migrated accounting modules on legacy applications which is code by foxpro, to ASP.NET web-based application, at the same time migrated the foxpro data tables to SQL server 2000; I also was responsible for writing stored procedures for pull business logic code segment from legacy foxpro programs.
