Daily Duties at Execu Search Information Technologies :

• Participated in a project, which the goal was to train and supervised new technicians with Deloitte software and Hardware to help with upgrading PC’s & migrating Deloitte & Touche employees to the correct containers in a Novell atmosphere. • Due to the Tragedy of September 11, I participated in a project to creating a temporary location for Deloitte & Touché operators. (Call center) Where I set up a small network where 30 Laptops were able to get on the LAN and access the Internet using VPN. Responsible for providing hardware and software support including: installation, testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting for computer and network equipment • Duties included troubleshooting Office2000, Palm, and various audit and tax programs such as AS2 and Turbo Tax, also supported Windows98, 2000 through phone support and walk-in. • Provide technical assistance to computer users by telephone, on- and off-site visits • Upgraded desktop/laptops to Win98 and 2000 in an NT and Novell environment • Installed various software such as Netmagic, inventory software, Jaz Backup, CD Burner, post/create information sign messages, Pentium, PCI, ISA, I/O boards and ports, video cards, EIDE/IDE, SCSI controller cards, 3Com network interface controller (NIC) cards, Win 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP and MS Office Suite office and also Visio, Visual Basics, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explores 6.0, Novell Client 3.3, Palm software, Project and many others. • Install and configure duel boot operation system. • Installed numerous hardware such as internal Jaz, Zip, DVD and CDR drives. I have also installed Video, Audio, Ethernet and SCSI cards and multiple hard drives with on external one as well. • Provided over the phone and one on one end user support on various software and hardware related problems. • Part of the Outlook project were we upgraded user from CC-Mail to MS outlook, also making sure that they didn’t loose any of their mail or contacts.
