Consulted by senior management for expertise and leadership in business process improvement initiatives. Strong ability to leverage cross functional relationships and provide appropriate change management to adopt new systems. Awarded “Above & Beyond” award multiple times for successful value-adding process changes. • As project manager, lead several large (global) cross-functional teams during implementation of custom SAP programming. Very knowledgeable of all aspects of project management including blueprinting, change management, resource / schedule / budget conformance, programming, testing, training, implementation & post go-live support. • Consistently achieved annual cost reduction targets equivalent to $200-500K by driving Lean culture changes within selected third party logistics provider (3PL) from ‘no knowledge’ to ‘best in organization’. Lean expertise used to coach & mentor Kaizen (continuous improvement) Teams consisting of front line associates, supervisors, and management. • Drove several business process changes across functional groups to improve accuracy of $200M (USD) in inventory from 97% to 99.95%. Implemented metrics and accountability systems that resulted in sustained process excellence. Reduced resources required for formal cycle count program by factor of 7. • Helped organization achieve best-in-industry material turns by implementing automated pull-style kanban systems, and consigned supplier inventory programs. • Successfully negotiated cost reduction contract baselines with outsourced 3PL on annual basis. Led negotiations on global team that eliminated supplier claim of $1.2M owed. • Single point of contact for all internal and external customer escalations involving the Warehouse & Logistics groups. Authorized all customer root cause corrective action plans for these functions. Primary contact for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and ISO 9002 interfacing. Developed and ensured consistent 3PL execution to business process metrics.
