Daily Duties at Boyd Gaming Corporation:
Daily operations of nine Las Vegas retail outlets located in seven Las Vegas gaming properties. Staff of 75 - senior operations team including warehouse, purchasing, (twelve Departments) loss prevention and finance. Designed, remodeled and updated existing stores, ($1MM project) while managing all related budgets and construction management. Introduced and maintained loss preventin controls that reduced COS 2 points. Maintained cutting edge product categories - fashion, apparel, jewelry & accessories, souvenir, (hard lines and soft lines) childrens, liquor & sundries. Supported Company's eight retail operations the Central Region by providing stretegic planning and guidance. Strict focus on product velocity and product performance while maintaining minimum on-hand inventory and "just in time" product arrivals. Successfully designed and implemented multiple employee training programs realting to advanced guest service and evolving operational practices. Business Development: assigned as Leader of redeveloopment team tasked to re-program and re-brand the restaurant & retail components of select propertites and targeted space. Introduced a national beverage program designed to increase divisional income 20% in year one and 10% annually there after.
