Daily Duties at Marriott Vacation Club:
Manage staff of 13 Senior Closing Specialists. Ensure all domestic real estate closings of developer and reacquired inventory are in compliance with applicable State recording statutes, title insurance regulations and legal and corporate established requirements. Responsible for the direct supervision of European developer and reacquired inventory, maintenance fee and loan revocations and resolution of outstanding issues. Manage refinance requests from existing owner. Review assorted reports and monitor status to determine if action is required to resolve any issues that would prevent closings. Partner with MVCI Law Department, Operations Managers, and Business System Analysts to ensure all new documents or changes to existing documents are thoroughly tested and approved before system release. Identify any training and/or work load management issues that need to be addressed Implemented several process improvements which resulted in a salary cost savings of 47%. Reduced average days to close from 135 to 87 (64%).
