Daily Duties at International Components Plus, Inc.:
US subsidiary of the globally active Italian furniture machinery manufacturer Longoni’s SRL. Simultaneously, an exporter of US made home furnishings to Europe and Asia Reporting to the company president, position held had full responsibility for US operations (financial analysis, planning, accounting, information systems management, logistics, manufacturing, business development, sales, national/regional marketing and strategic planning). • Led the design, development and implementation of an integrated management information reporting and analysis process to provide a framework for multiple structures to evaluate profitability by market, product, channel and customer account. • Managed annual budget and planning process. Direct company-wide monthly and quarterly update of the annual forecast of earnings. • Established liaison with Baroque, Reuben’s President in Korea. Buyer, shipper, worldwide logistics for purchases of US$8M annually in high end furniture exported to South Korea.
