Managed the establishment and implementation of sound internal accounting policies, procedures and controls for general accounting and financial reporting. Created new and improved financial reporting for executive and mid management level meetings. Supervised the accounting department responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, inventory and fixed assets. Responsible for the Company’s annual budgets and forecasts. Performed quarterly and yearly general ledger/sub ledger and bank account reconciliation’s. Responsible for preparation of all financial information submitted to lenders. Prepared all financial records for review by the outside auditing firm. Secured financing for operations and asset purchases. Created new methods for improved job cost reporting. Initiated numerous process improvements through out the company. Purchased all non-operational services. Supervised the Human Resources, IT, Purchasing, Engineering and Project Management departments coordinating and overseeing all activities related to each department. Mediated departmental and employee disagreements and sought beneficial resolution for all parties.
