Daily Duties at Q Consulting Group:
Relocated to Northern CA. As a Sr. Technical Recruiter, I was responsible for: sourcing, networking, identifying, contacting, recruiting, screening, interviewing, assessing, testing, presenting, consulting with and mentoring applicants and candidates for temporary/contract/temporary-to-direct placement within technical fields such as: IT/IS (network, OS, DBA, system architects, developers, testers), web development/maintenance, SW/HW engineering roles, across industry. I negotiated terms/salaries and presented offers. Promoted to GM in 2000, I was responsible for actively marketing of our company, services and skill-set marketing of sr.-level candidates to clients and prospective client companies to increase market presence/business ensure proper placement of employees; and ppotential repeat/future and additional business. As GM, I managed daily operations with a staff of between 15-20 emplyees, hired, trained, supported, conducted performance reviews and employee terminations as necessary to best support business goals. I worked closely with the Dir. of Business Development, I-Manage Corp. and the CFO; I implemented and supported company policies/proceedures, created business plans, projection & P&L reports, etc. Demonstrated professionalism and ability to work well both individually as a leader, as well as a team member. Consistently met/exceeeded both personal and established sales and management goals.
