Daily Duties at Jamco America:
I relocated from the Southend to the Everett area. My responsibilities included: networking,sourcing, identifying, contacting, recruiting, screening, interviewing, determining and assessing skills, experience, and qualifications were an accurate match for each position and presenting resumes of successful recruits to hiring managers for consideration. Those who were not qualified were contacted, their resumes kept on file, added to our network and ATS. I negotiated terms/salaries and presented offers. These efforts assisted in doubling the size of the organization within 2 years; including a branch office location in AL, and an additional manufacturing facility. I worked closely with both applicants and hiring managers, supporting both thorugh the application, offer/decline, and/or on-boarding process. I recruited internationally as well, to increase market presence & recruiting/hiring effectiveness; traveling to sudpport as necessary. I assisted foreign nationals through the Visa application process, as well as their relocation/travel, transition and acclimation process. Functioned as point of contact for all third-party staffing firms, created and/or improved and maintained all company policies and proceedures related to identifiying recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and terminating.
