Daily Duties at Alliance Berstein:
• Direct oversight of 175 person operational staff servicing an account base in excess of 4 million accounts. • Coordination of staffing and budgeting tasks for 9 areas of the Transfer Agent. • Delivered monthly and quarterly reports to Senior Management, Compliance Department and Board of Directors. • Responsible for Vendor Management for all Operational relationships within the Transfer Agent. • Coordinated all audit activities related to Alliance Bernstein Investor Services including Sarbanes Oxley Compliance, SAS70, Securities & Exchange Commission, and other annual internal assessments. • Delivered consistent quality improvements of 10% or better year over year. • Responsible for oversight and delivery of over 4 million client statements on a quarterly basis. • Attained outstanding ratings on all annual an semi-annual reviews • Recognition by National Quality Review for “Best in Class” rating for the 3rd quarter 2008. • Developed formal tracking system and database for all customer complaints. • Instituted best practices quality groups for departments within Alliance Bernstein Investor Services. • Identified and automated several critical job functions in order to reduce headcount. • Developed and mentored managers to attain career advancement throughout the organization. • Implemented career progression in all departments under my leadership. • Proactively managed cross training programs in all departments to increase efficiencies. • Managed all training resources for San Antonio site to coordinate training for over 350 employees.
