Daily Duties at Asyst Technologies:

Managed three PMs plus my own team to meet an extremely aggressive schedule. We developed a new solution for the automated material handling within wafer manufacturing facilities. Our COO was so delighted and surprised that we met the schedule, each team member was awarded an all-expenses paid vacation for two to Hawaii. Managed a project to develop a conveyor system to integrate with existing AMH systems. We were able to develop the product and implement in a manufacturing line in Taiwan. We exceeded the customer's requirements and had received new orders, but these orders were canceled when the semiconductor industry collapsed. Managed the team that was on track to deliver a new-style, inexpensive storage buffer for the wafer lines when the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Created and maintained the schedules for these projects. Created and maintained issues trackers. Drove the team to meet the schedule. Assured that issues were prioritized properly and that they were closed in a timely fashion. Prepared weekly status reports for senior management.
