Daily Duties at Ibm Global Services:
Was responsible for writing quick one-time use ad-hoc reports against the Vision Database that helped plan administrators to solve different issues. Provided Analysis of Requirements, Design and Development of Programs as per the Business requirements. Proposed and developed a number of modules for CICS/DB2 DPA (Data Processing Applications) System, which helped to decrease CPU time, increase efficiency and helped business people with their job. Eliminated manual intervention into production JCL jobs and Jobtrac schedules by automation of the process of the preparation all production JCL jobs and procedures for daily, weekly, and monthly production cycles. Eliminated operators and coordinators errors by implementing JMF Variables for DC (Defined Contribution), DB (Defined Benefit), and Payroll Plus Systems including all on request jobs. Automated the entire Income and special processing procedures by providing each Business Area and also Production Support with the proper tools, training and documentation. This process saved approximately 30 hours weekly. Wrote a number of batch Cobol II/DB2 modules, JCL Jobs and Procedures. Participated in the moving JCL jobs, procedures and libraries from VM to MVS.
