Daily Duties at Coast Federal Bank:
Design and Installation Manager: Manage a staff of 5 Telecommunication Engineers and 3 Support Personnel with responsibilities for the design, implementation, and support of the associations LAN/WAN projects. The enterprise includes 2 administrative offices with WAN connectivity to 140 + branches. • Managed development and installation of associations 10BaseT and Bridged network at the two administrative facilities. • Managed development and installation of the 80 branch network using Memotec DSU’s and ISC Pinnacle branch terminals. • Established company’s first network operation center to manage the branch network. • Coordinated network and hardware conversion of two S & L acquisitions (Monterey Savings & Central Federal). Both conversions were done over weekends with a 100% success rate.
