Daily Duties at Ameriprise :

I answered incoming calls from contract holders, agents and other teams, regarding annuity contracts. I handled both simple and complex problems in a timely manner. I was promoted to the death claim team and processed death claims from beneficary notification to correct and prompt payment. I took charge of complex death claim cases with many or contested beneficiaries. I developed a system to return certified death certificates to beneficiaries, resulting in fewer calls to the call center requesting their return.
