Daily Duties at Colorado Brokerage Group Inc :
• Assisted in the growth of CBGI, an insurance and annuity wholesale firm representing 23 carriers and licensed in all 50 states, by 20% for 2 consecutive years by allowing marketing groups to focus on sales • Consult with owner / CEO on financial status of the firm making suggestions, providing advice and suggestions, as well as assisting with solutions in order to increase profitability • Oversee case management, input, and delivery systems making sure life and annuity applications are processed in an efficient and timely manner • Evaluate vendors as well as insurance and annuity carriers, making sure they are meeting service level agreements • Work as liaison between the independent life agents and the insurance and annuity carriers resolving case problems, commission issues and other communication • Monitor the AP/AR and financials for CBGI, meeting budget requirements and regularly looking for ways to increase profitability • Supervise all licensing and tax filing for the firm which includes ensuring all state requirements are met • Manage human resource activities including benefits, employee candidate interviews, terminations and payroll • Responsible for coordinating daily staffing operations including scheduling and filling temporarily open positions • Ensure internal systems including IT run smoothly and efficiently
