Accomplishments include: • Designed a Graphical User Interface (GUI) in MATLAB for the ongoing project which allows user to give a set of input points for creating active appearance models • Implemented correction for transformation and rotation of images before Image Registration • Currently working on implementing an Active Shape Model algorithm for heart segmentation in chest x-rays
