Daily Duties at International Paper:
Technical / financial review of capital investments in terms of employing minimum effective design to enhance the return on investment, net present value, and internal rates of return. Conducted post review of large capital investments to ensure cost effectiveness and compliance with financial and technical objectives. +Implemented standardization of capital requests and facility planning to facilitate global sourcing of equipment and material to drive procurement at the best price that saved $90 million in capital expenditure +Enhanced capital tracking and reporting mechanisms to ensure proper capital expenditures and accruing +Reduced level of inaccurate accruals to save approximately $1.5 million in unnecessary capitalized interest per annum
