Daily Duties at Campus Living Villages At Academy Of Art University:
• Create and direct the training, comprehensive supervision, and evaluation process of Resident Directors to enhance performance • Implement the redesigning of department’s promotional materials to achieve dynamic, modern, and professional image by improving recruitment methods, enhancing website, and production of outreach video • Develop recruitment methods and interview processes for professional staff candidates • Proven success in developing and executing various strategic plans; such as amending staffing structure and crisis management • Managing special projects from inception to completion along with creating and monitoring budget for area • Improve existing process for new student orientation, professional development, departmental contracts & proposals, and executive correspondence by creating innovative approaches, while increasing efficiency • Responsible for making advancements in personal development of students and departmental staff in areas of sustainability, gender equity, social justice, diversity, and academic excellence • Primary liaison between housing department and other university professionals by maximizing productivity and efficiency of cross-functional projects • Construct and design weekly, monthly, and annual reports for executive office including special program implementation, budget management, and employee evaluations • Optimize public relations and foster positive working relationships between CLV and a diverse array of working professionals including Academy of Art University departments, independent contractors, vendors, non-profit organizations, and local businesses • Integrate innovative outreach and programming techniques to effectively retain students in campus housing
