Daily Duties at Alamodome (City Of San Antonio):

Lead security staff of the Alamodome, including all duties outlined above regarding supervision, budget and procedural development. Coordinate security activities for all Alamodome events to include the San Antonio Spurs, NBA All Star Weekend, Alamobowl, Big 12 Football Championship, NCAA Final Four and a variety of concerts and special events. In addition to security related activities, continued responsibility for all event staff. Hire, schedule, assign and supervise 300+ part time event staff personnel. Responsible for crowd control and crowd management. Ensure staff is deployed in areas which provide a safe and customer friendly environment. Provide security personnel for behind stage and dressing room areas. Monitor event and reassign personnel in areas where problems may develop. As a coordinator for events such as Spurs basketball games, rock concerts, and other events, responsible for all aspects of the event from load in to load out, ensuring promoter had all equipment and personnel for set up and tear down. Coordinate these activities with local police, fire departments, Alamodome operations, physical security and management. Assist other Event Coordinators with the coordination of numerous events. Interact with promoters, patrons, vendors and contractors associated with events at the Alamodome.
