For the owner of the largest interactive cross-border market with a presence in thirty-five countries, evaluated the functionality of client’s current international shipping interface and benchmarked other eCommerce sites, shipping carriers, and third-party shipping providers. Consulted to the Cross-Border Trade division on generating additional cross-border trade revenue and improving the international eCommerce experience. • Researched e-commerce industry and leading retail websites to develop a competitor benchmarking analysis identifying industry best practices and client shortcomings in the international shipping market • Analyzed international shipping trends and variable freight expenses to present recommendations to increase client’s operations efficiency and cross-border trade volume • Completed an international shipping market behavior assessment; conceptualized and created a proposal for an extension to the user interface for improved user experience • Identified potential shipping and fulfillment center partnership/ joint venture opportunities for the client
