Daily Duties at Smart Bargains.Com:
• Hired to re-architect and rebuild a VB.NET based e-commerce website. Site creation included use of ASP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Flash. • Performed all aspects of website development including authoring new dynamic and static promotional pages, e-mail campaigns, search engine optimization, site publishing and other website maintenance. • Developed custom split test functionality to analyze conversion on new pages and functionality. • Researched and implemented various methods for maximum search engine ranking. • Developed and maintained co-branded websites for both AOL and Yahoo. • Managed a team of four web developers to code all customer-facing aspects of the website. • Supervised teams to transform concepts, graphics, layouts and back-end systems into dynamic web sites while maintaining design integrity across all web browsers and platforms. • Generated project plans and managed project life cycles to ensure the final products met customer expectations and deadlines, were error free, and easy for the customer to use. • Implemented usability studies, surveys, focus groups, and site performance tracking to constantly analyze the site and determine where improvements were needed.
