Daily Duties at Semantic Bits:
Designing and implementing caBIG (cancer biomedical informatics grid) project CaAERS (Cancer Adverse Event Reporting) in J2EE technology, Tomcat, Spring. This project is sponsored by NCI (National Cancer Institute). His responsibilities include designing and developing the client codes, developing database using MYSQL. The project primarily dealt with the development of JSP pages for the government and for the development of website. The project also involved updating or modifying the information or the edits, writing codes on both client side and server side. Responsibilities: • Developing the client side JSP pages. • Writing and developing the server side using Spring and J2EE technology. • Doing Functional Testing and documenting them. • Developing database using MYSQL. • Doing Installation of jdk, Tomcat in Windows and Unix boxes. • Doing necessary documentation. • Doing necessary data collection.
