Daily Duties at Stop & Shop Supermarkets:
Responsible for the Recruitment, hiring, orientation, managing people development and maintaining diversity of Front-end.Responsible for finding diverse candidates from community and within Stop & Shop to fill stores hiring needs.Responsible for overseeing Front-end operations, Cash Office, and insuring highest level of customer service.Manage store community and customer relations. Accountable for: scheduling and conducting interviews and involving other managers as appropriate.Coordinated orientation, new hire and department specific training with CTP Coordinators.Followed up on associate development plan implementation. Documented front-end associate performance issues.Attended and coordinated job fairs.Analyzed store turnover figures.Coached associates, resolved customer issues, responded to donation requests, as well as attended and or coordinated local community events. Managed fund raising events and gift certificate program.
