Daily Duties at Pseg:

.Troubleshoot problems (desktops, laptops, user apps, printers, faxes, copiers, & other peripherals) in a Microsoft 2000/2003 environment. And setting up laptops for wireless. • Fix PC hardware and software, VPN problems. Remove and replace defective components. Blackberry setups. And Setting up wireless routers • Install common or modified images on desktop/laptop systems. • Install, remove or move computers, printers, fax machines and other communications and computer systems and peripherals. Provided Desktop and Laptop upgrade from Dell GX260 to Optiplex 745 and from D600 to D620, D630 Laptop. Printer and Monitors, Software back up user information from old hardware to new hardware using a check list to document that the user has received their desktop or laptop Using Remedy ticket system to track all problem tickets and to get user information for who gets a Refresh laptop or Desktop and adding new software that is requested by users. And setup and configure all Desktops and laptops that are ordered by all departments in PSEG. Software ranging from Financial to Accounting, Microsoft and all third party software.
