Daily Duties at United Technologies/Csc:
Migration Specialist - Consultant Year long project migrating Exchange Users from 5.5 to 2003. Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Exchange, Mail and User Migrations: Migration of desktops and users, using exmerge utility, scripting with Perl and VBScript to automate migrations from Global to NA environment. International migrations from MSX 5.5 to Exchange 2003 in multi-forest Exchange environment. Helpdesk work in the same environment International Data Collection for Asia Pacific Sites using various scripts written by a team of experts and or Exchange Admin tools to exact data to analyze business sites through out Pacific Asia prior to migration. This would determine the time line and technology needed to perform the moving of the user’s profile and outlook data from exchange 5.5 international site to Exchange 2003 US servers for UTC, Otis Elevator and Carrier Corporation. Active Directory maintenance in the same environment for NA and Global Users. Level-2/3 helpdesk with technical customer interaction, with extremely high customer satisfaction. Help administer Active Directory/Exchange environment with 80,000+ users. Extensive experience in network administration: particularly in the areas of e-mail and messaging. Self-directed, with ability to locate problems, and then research, develop, customize, and implement solutions, within a team environment. Environment Software: *OS: Vista, Windows 2003, Windows XP Home/Professional, Windows 2000 Server , Windows NT 4.0 Server/Workstation, Remedy helpdesk, Argent Software, Exchange(5.5, 2000, 2003), Active Directory, PC Anywhere, Remote Desktop, Remote Desktop Access, VPN Access Client, Net Meeting, AT&T voice and web conferencing.
