Daily Duties at Ambiance Personnel :

Brought on board to be the Director of Technical Services, to reinvent and revitalize the staffing process, improve overall moral, to create a “brand”. Responsible for starting up a new Technical division from ground level. Bringing in new clients and maintaining existing clients and turning them into IT clients. Ambiance is a Logistics firm. I went to the MIS Directors of these clients to bring in business that Ambiance has never done before. Also started medical division and brought on board nurses and hospitals. Used the internet as a big sales and recruiting tools. Went back to basics and sourced companies as well. Worked a lot with referrals from candidates and clients to bring in new business. Duties include gaining clarification of technical requirements from hiring managers on national contracts (i.e. IBM, Citibank, Del Monte, Tupperware, HP, Alamo etc.…). Building pipeline of available and qualified consultants. Negotiating hourly rate/salary, per diem and relocation when applicable. Ensuring technical skills fulfill details of requisition and “locking down” contractors for actual start dates. Generation of revenue through local business development outside of national contracts. Negotiating bill rates and conditions of employment concerning retention of consultants. Sell, deliver, and implement solutions into traditional Human Resource departments, as well as consulting firms and third-party recruiting agencies Assist clients in planning and analysis of both traditional and technical workforce Identify technology trends; utilize national and local resources to develop workforce strategies for the implementation of new Human Resource technologies/tools Design strategies to access and acquire appropriate organizational talent Work in cooperation with prospective clients to develop overall retention strategies
