Daily Duties at Object Management Group (Omg):
Coordinated all of OMG's IT specification-adoption processes (e.g., UML, the Unified Modeling Language), working closely with OMG's multinational and multicultural members. Served as Technical Chair of the OMG's Technical Committee, providing guidance and, when needed, arbitration and conflict management to OMG subgroups charged with the development of software specifications. Also responsible for meeting organization and facilitation. Managed OMG liaisons with other international standards bodies (e.g., ISO). Provided technical support to OMG business development and marketing activities. Served as Technical Chair on workshops focused on current topics in the computer industry such as modeling and architecture. Invited as a panelist, presenter and session organizer for national and international IT conferences on architecture, model-driven development, and the benefit of standards.
