Provide in-depth training to students in basic and advanced computer concepts including Microsoft Certification for MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Develop computer focused classroom assignments and assess student skills through grading and practical exams. Provide mentoring and insightful nurturing of special needs students. Schedule, coordinate and oversee computer lab activities ensuring strict adherence to lab rules. Ensure computer lab operates at optimum efficiency. Responsible for developing test content covering practical and written tests. Assess effectiveness of test questions and develop relevant modifications. Spearhead recruitment and training of new computer lab assistants. Provide computer and software assistance and instruction to faculty at large. Troubleshoot and assist in identification and correction of computer technical problems. Administer daily attendance log and a spreadsheet to monitor weekly hours and payroll totals.
