Daily Duties at Cuny Graduate Center:
• Providing technical audio/visual support for regular schedules and special events throughout the facility as well as providing projection, recording, editing, playback and other audio/visual services. • Delivering and picking up all audio/visual equipment and ensuring all equipment are in working order when delivered. • Assisting faculty, staff, students and others in the use of the equipment requested. • Operating major facilities such as the Auditorium, Theater and Recital Hall which require the presence of a technician during events. • Providing routine maintenance and inventory of all audio/visual equipment including equipment permanently assigned to designated areas and troubleshooting and repairing defective audio/visual equipment. • Assisting in the recording, editing and duplication of tapes for teaching, research, thesis preparation and transcription for publication, including checking for copyright infringement. • Assisting in producing photographs to be used for Graduate Center publications.
