Daily Duties at Convergys Corporation:
Ensures that hiring procedures are in compliance with Convergys’ policy as well as EEO and ADA guidelines and reports on employment statistics, including cost per hire, source of hire, and diversity recruiting initiatives. Communicates with internal resources to ensure web site is competitive with our industry. Coordinates college recruiting efforts for the general vicinity. Analyzes and reports on employment statistics, including cost per hire, source of hire, and diversity recruiting initiatives Sourcing methods include traditional as well as nontraditional methods, with an emphasis toward identifying new sources of ad placement in relation to current needs. Reports on recruiting activities to management, identifying problem areas and potential solutions. Negotiate service contracts with outside vendors for temporary staffing, reference checking, and pre-employment drug testing. Collaborated with the Leadership Team to determine staffing needs. Recommended resource strategies for recruiting new employees. Organized all recruiting advertising inclusive of newspaper ads, web postings, billboard ads and cinema ads. Defined Human Resources processes for recruitment, interviews, disciplinary and termination requests. Coached hiring managers on the recruiting process and interviewing techniques. Attended all community activities such as chamber of commerce events, job fairs, unemployment , and economic planning sessions.
