Daily Duties at Jtekt Automotive:
• Create line charts to show efficiency including downtime, productivity and rejects. • Forecast production for die cast facility, showing what model to run and when to change to another model in order to satisfy customer demands which keep the inventory level within target. • Perform supply forecast for entire die cast facility based off of formulas on how much of each product is used on each model in the production lineup. Improving cost by 20 % at the end of each month. • Manage suppliers to improve cost of each product line. Negotiated with vendors to ensure cost reductions on products. Reorganized storeroom; identified critical parts and ensured availability reducing machine down time. • Reorganize production lines, manpower and shifts to ensure overall plant efficiency. • Serve as Activities Committee Chairman planning company events.
