Responsible for strategic leadership, operations/general management and P&L responsibility for the company, with a $10 million loss on $90 million in sales. • Halted bottom-line distress ($10 million annual loss on $90 million in sales), delivered $4 million PBT within four years. • Seized an opportunity to license the Farberware Brand for the first time in the company’s history generating in excess of $ 1 million in PBT. • Drove the strategic initiatives and innovations in new business development, products and processes including redesigning an obsolete product and championing next generation development activities. Boosted sales 300%, increased gross margin 38% and reduced costs 18%. o Executed a strategy to establish a new category of premium priced cookware (utilizing exclusive distribution) - which generated $8 million in sales and over $2 million in profit. o This premium line allowed us to take our “classic” line to mass merchants-penetrating “first-time” accounts throughout the US including Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target and Sears. • Developed and launched an innovative, patented product (microwave coffee maker) generating $9 million in first year revenues with a $4.5 million margin.
