What they like about Grumman Aerospace Corporation:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.

Climbers' Joblogs at Grumman Aerospace Corporation:
W Lance Craft - About Me
I started my career in Aerospace, which I found challenging and satisfying. Through my various job roles, I had the opportunity to be involved with many exciting products and some wonderful people. I also had the opportunity to travel to various cities across the US and to Germany, France, Singapore, and Indonesia. After donating bone marrow to a little girl, I placed a new emphasis on the importance of family. As a result, I voluntarily left aerospace and New York to seek new opportunities in Florida, where the rest of my extended family lived. After a time, I was offered a job with a unique company founded by Jack Eckert and Bob Graham. This company was created to run prison industries. The corporate mission was two fold: (1)to run prison industries like a private sector company, and (2) to provide an environment for rehabilitating prisoners. In the process, I learned a great deal about the Furniture indurty and marketplace and did my part to turn inmates into productive law abiding cictizens. Now its time agian for new challenges and opportunities.
