Assisted in opening the hotel, which, was a great experience and addition to my knowledge in the hospitality industry. Using Delphi & Opera Systems to enter reservation data assign rooms according to VIP guest preferences and arrange for events and act as a liaison between department heads. Maintain the Director’s calendar of appointments, travel arrangements and administrative duties. Working directly with three sales managers, oversee administrative responsibilities such as working on contracts, issuing purchase orders, producing monthly sales reports, ordering office supplies, interact courteously with clients on the phone, solicit business through various efforts (outside sales calls, telemarketing, direct mail) to maximize revenues to meet or exceed goals.
