Daily Duties at Scientific Games International:
Seeks out, interviews, screens, and recruits job applicants to fill existing company job openings (43-different sites) and provides assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving employee relation problems within organization to facilitate communication and improve morale by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. • Discusses personnel needs with department supervisors to prepare and implement recruitment program. • Posts position internally (if appropriate) and externally to gather resumes. • Contacts other resources, e.g., schools, associations, etc., to expand the applicant pool. • Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants. • Interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements. • Refers qualified applicants to company hiring personnel for follow up interview. • Arranges travel and lodging for selected applicants at company expense. • Performs reference and background checks on applicants. • Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of employment consideration. • Files and maintains employment records for future references. • Projects yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary control. • Develops and updates job descriptions. • Maintains union posting system. • Coordinates and presents orientation to new employees. • Reports on turnover and safety each month. • Maintains HR Intranet. • Coordinates employee activities with Corporate Human Resources Department. • Other responsibilities as assigned.
