Charged with launching a new division to manufacture proprietary construction products for existing customers. Managed sales, finance, operations, supply chain, distribution and EHS activities for all divisions of the company ($13 million). · Configured, installed and initiated operations at a new manufacturing site in Pennsylvania. General Manager 2001 – 2006 Hired to quickly grow the market share of the emerging specialty chemical and construction products business. ($8.5 million to $12 million). Hands on management of sales, finance, marketing, operations, purchasing and EHS activities of the business. · Increased sales by 40 percent in 3 years in a declining market by targeting key accounts by industry. · Improved the net income from a loss (10 percent on sales) to a profit (10 percent of sales) in 3 years. · Reduced cost of goods sold by 8 percent in two years through lean manufacturing techniques.
