Climbers' Joblogs at Grasmick Produce Company:
Current Conditions of Supply Chain Dynamics in Northwest U.S.
Exploring current trends and trade talk with regard to supply chain philosophy coming of age in the Northwest. Strong hold on cities such as Seattle and Portland, but slow on the uptake within the rest of the territory of the Northwest.Vital to the growth of the area as more suppliers are going to EDI platforms and common ground of centralized purchasing methods. Northwest companies must review, adapt and possibly adopt certain philosophies in order to stay competitive and stay current with supplier needs. These will allow pricing, transportation, product bases and technology to become compatible for growth (especially in this economy where growth is the key).
Sustainable Sales and Growth in the Current Economy - To Believe is to Achieve!
Working on mentoring several former employees on their sales and customer relationships within the food industry. Principles are not just inherent in food, they are cross borders within all industries - comes down to relationships and the sustainablity of that relationship through thick and thin. Using the approach that I use personally of "to believe is to achieve". Identify, analyze and implement the plan that is specific to that customer. Set forth value, offer negotiation and utilize long term versus short term growth for each party = sustainability.
