Daily Duties at Randal Displays:
· Responsible for overseeing all purchased parts and on-time delivery schedules for manufacturing of store fixtures, casework, and displays while using JobBoss with MRP and review of customer supplied blueprints. · Developed and maintained excellent working relationships with vendors helping to negotiate cost reduction pricing and consistent delivery terms. · Traveled to China in 2007 to further develop relations with major overseas vendor. · Also developed and maintained strong working relationships with internal sales, engineering, and shop foremen staff working together to evaluate customer needs, product production timelines, component changes and production requirements. · Shared responsibility managing two administrative staff members whose duties to the purchasing department were taking weekly physical inventories and placing orders for stock items. · Trained staff in efficient methods of taking inventory thereby reducing waste and increasing accuracy. · Submitted information and feedback for their annual reviews with company owners
