Daily Duties at Uss Russell (Ddg 59) Us Navy:
Oversaw operations and maintenance of Engineering Department. Responsible for supervision, counseling, mentoring and evaluation of over 70 personnel. Supervised the management of administrative programs to include: fuel and lube oil quality, quality assurance, training, gas turbine service records, maintenance, safety, lockout/tagout, gage calibration, equipment logs and records and damage control. Engineering Training Team Coordinator. Member of Chief's Review Board. Member of Professional Development Board. Acting Command Master Chief, advising Commanding Officer on personnel issues. Command Duty Officer, Duty Section Leader, Engineering Officer of the Watch, Engineering Duty Officer.
