Daily Duties at Hajoca Corporation:

Senior Technical Support Associate and Systems Operations Specialist Based on demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the fly, advanced to technical support for complex multi-platform legacy system (AS400, Windows, UNIX / AIX Servers). Provide technical support for entire company (2000 end users at all levels throughout corporate and remote field operations). Handle proactive troubleshooting for PC, AS400 midrange, peripheral (printers, faxes, etc.) and connectivity issues and respond to high volume of inbound phone queries / requests. Daily Backups of all company systems Running Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly batch jobs that processed reports, AP, Payroll checks, and various tape jobs. Plan and execute systems update and software / hardware upgrade projects, configure users for AS400 access and maintain AS400 user profiles and user menus. Work with 3rd-party vendors on backup tape procedures, and archive reports on CD. Check all systems for backups, errors, system and program halts, on all servers. Check printers (verify all overnight printing is complete for all networked printers), Unifier fax system, and Spoolview server and handle all related reports. Provide meticulous documentation for all areas listed above. Submit all IT bills to be paid by AP. Assist with DirectFed installations and transfers. Computer Systems Operator – Accounting Systems Scheduled all tape rotations through ADS software. Ran and printed AP and Payroll check jobs, update payroll. Ran all quarterly and yearly payroll jobs and reports, all yearly GL jobs, EOM closing jobs for all applicable systems, and submitted special Spoolview reports Sent direct deposits to bank, verified prior night's backup jobs and all bank FTP jobs; handled troubleshooting and resubmission of any failures. Provided updates to HarrisData payroll software with HarrisData and BSI updates and fixes. Maintained tape schedules and submitted monthly to DBSi. Administered, added, and updated Profit Center File Maintenance. TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE Software: Word, Excel, Outlook Client, Access / Access Express, iSeries Access for Windows (AS400 software); HarrisData (AS400 Payroll software), BSI (AS400 Tax Software), DirectFed (banking software for all 250+ locations), TapeTrack Lite (remote storage software) , FTP, Spoolview, UNIX (AIX) OS: Mainframe / Midrange & Client / Server: OS400 / AS400, UNIX (AIX), Windows NT / 9X / 2000 / 2003 / XP Hardware: IBM, Dell, HP, TSM (IBM backup server for all Windows 2003 Servers) Programming: AS400 Programming: CL, SQL, RPG Networking: LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, POP, SMTP, VPN, Ethernet
