Daily Duties at Chevron Texaco:
Travel to field offices in West Texas Built and imaged HP Desktops, Lenovo Laptops, and Panasonic Tough books for assigned deployments for the Chevron GIL 3 project. Included imaging the computers with Windows Vista Enterprise, updating drivers, and installing specific user software & hardware Performed backups of user profiles to achieve consistent migrations from Windows XP to Vista OS Setup new equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and air cards Installed Microsoft Office products and many Oil & Proprietary Gas programs for users Trained end-users on new procedures and associated tools within Vista Maintained asset tracking on all computers and applicable equipment Provided Level 2 and 3 services on hardware, network, and software issues in a XP, Vista, Windows 2003 & 2008 server and MS Office 2007 environment
