Daily Duties at Headquarters Standard Systems Group:
(Software Development, Data Migration, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance) Supervised team of six programmers working with contractors on modernizing the Manpower Data System, documenting and managing requirements. Coordinated with outside agencies on integration issues. Examined new user requirements and upgraded/developed software development plans. Developed Unix-based message processing software using shell-scripting. Monitored software development processes, indentified weaknesses, and executed plans for correcting them. Advised other projects in their software process improvement efforts.
