Daily Duties at Thomson/Technicolor:
• Directed Multiple IT Projects and Components. Managed a portfolio of concurrent cross functional multi-million dollar projects for the world’s leading provider of solutions for the creation, management and delivery of Media & Entertainment industries Hardware, Video & Gaming DVDs. Served as the subject matter expert (SME) on all custom software applications used within the organization. Collaborated with Clients, Stakeholders and Business Sponsors to define requested features and functionality. Assembled project processes across a geographically dispersed project development team. Accomplished delivery of large-scale, time sensitive, high-risk projects; utilized and applied PM management skills to satisfy and efficiently serve all stakeholders using the SDLC phased methodology. • Engineered and Launched PM Communication, Planning and Reporting Tools. Developed Project Plans, Project Scopes, Functional Specifications, Operational Instructions, User Guides, Test Conditions, Test Scripts, GUI Designs and Report modeling. Identified project risks and solutions to ensure project timelines; executed project control components/risk management. Aligned Client RFP requirements to scope and architecture software design; facilitated client project planning sessions and functional design reviews under the Client Relationship Management umbrella. Implemented a central control function to provide standard tools and processes for managing project status tracking, monitoring the health of the project, as well as issue control and risk mitigation. Facilitated client project workshops, meetings, system readiness, project deployment and client acceptance signoff.
