Daily Duties at Fed Ex Corporation :
• Implemented and Managed the FedEx Services e-Commerce Project Management Office (PMO). Accomplished the delivery of large-scale, high-risk projects; utilized and applied PMO management skills to satisfy and efficiently serve all stakeholders, governance, and alignment of e-Commerce Automation teams toward a core set of common shipping-related services reducing the overall enterprise system footprint from four shipping engines to one. Lead the design, implementation and adoption of the PMO including services, standards, processes and tools; served as the critical link to all project stakeholders through process management consulting, collaboration and support. Drove out complexity and laid the foundation for FedEx’s future by ensuring that “FAST” (FedEx Automation Services Transformation) Legacy migration project was built on the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) foundation; standardization on a core set of services used; complexity reduction exemplified enabling speed-to-market. Ensured PMO parameters were met for all projects; executed project control components as related to Costs, Risks, Quality, Communication, Planning and Change. Coordinated with Sr. Business Leaders and IT Mgt. to maintain configuration of IT priorities in compliance with business goals. • Engineered and Launched PMO Communication, Planning and Reporting Tools. Communicated strategic objectives down to the program, project and feature level by designing and implementing a SharePoint central project repository site which provided project communication tools including migration status reports, scorecards, dashboards, issues logs, roadmaps, development documentation, project/company objectives, architecture standards, and presentations that served as the PMO foundation providing visibility and exemplifying increased efficiency of business processes, and improved team collaboration. Aggregated and communicated project status up to the executive level and Automation Technology Overview Council. Accelerated overall project success by designing multiple reporting tools providing measured project success visibility for legacy parity or functional equivalence, containment, migration of those specific services and engines. Designed, developed PMO presentation materials; facilitated meetings for Project Alignment, Feature Roadmap, and Technical Deep Dive sessions.
