Daily Duties at Westaff:

• Assist the Accounting Manager in conducting and coordinating company’s month end and year end closings. Preparing month end journal entries which includes adhering to Company's relevant internal controls. • Ensure accounting transactions are recorded properly and according to Generally accepted accounting principles(GAAP) • Maintaining accounting files such as journal entries and related support • Reconciling Fixed assets as per Asset Management in PeopleSoft to the General Ledger on a monthly basis and resolving any discrepancies found as a result of the reconciliation. • Provide explanations, documentation support for external, internal or credit related to auditors during their required reviews and audits.
