Step/Bims Work Values

Daily Duties at Step/Bims:

STEP- Manage instruction training for disabled individuals in STEP program and Job Readiness which includes field recruiting, supervision and development of lesson plans, transition to work once training is completed. BIMS - Complete the STEP transtion further by linking individuals with Louisiana Rehabilitation Services for job coaching and placement, or placement to sister department called operations to work on enclave jobs in janitorial, home modifications, or lawn maintenance jobs. Manage an inhouse cookie company that hires an individual from STEP to later transition into a community job. Administraqte a home and community based waiver services program for Developmental disabled individuals and provide the QMRP support. Provide Safety training for all employees and compliance with OSHA and NISH.
