Daily Duties at Knpb Tv:
Operated a digital (videocypherII) PBS satellite uplink feed on a nightly basis as an experiment for PBS and some of its affiliates. The experiment was to ascertain if enough throughput and bandwidth could be obtained to meet FCC broadcast standards using different digital video sources such as DVD. Also assisted with local productions by doing live camera work, switching, lighting, sound and uplinking live feeds. Also ran Master control when needed.
