Daily Duties at Travelers Insurance:

·Assigned to homeowner and commercial property claims throughout Riverside, San Diego, Orange, and San Bernardino counties. ·Negotiated and settled varying degrees of Agribusiness, Small Business, Commercial, Homeowners, Condo unit owners, and Contents claims which included structural damage from fire, water, smoke, wind, vandalism up to $200,000.00 in a timely manner. ·Drafted estimates via Xactimate 25 for emergency services, anti-microbial abatement, structural, and/or contents damage on site as well as processing payments on site for the insured. ·Trained and mentored new employees on company policy and Best Practices. ·Prepare reservation of rights letters, status letters, denial letters, partial denial letters, statements of loss, depreciation schedules, and release of all claims. ·Identify fraud indicators and referred claims to Special Investigations when warranted. ·Examines applicable claim form(s), endorsement(s), and other records to determine coverage. ·Identify potential subrogation and set up the liquidation of salvaged goods with national vendors to minimize the bottom line of the claim. ·Recorded statements, or corresponds with claimant and witnesses; consults police and ISO records for facts of loss. ·Completed ITV’s by utilizing MSB Express for homeowners and commercial lines claims. ·Recognized subrogation potential and initiated recovery of evidence by way of chain of custody or the deployment of a recovery company to preserve the evidence.
