Daily Duties at Sparton Electronics:
Responsibilities included program review with design engineering, quoting of the supply base, sourcing and approving new suppliers, administering tooling orders and concurrent engineering , supplier liaison to Sparton materials divisions, pre-production support for first piece sample approval and administering all engineering changes for mechanical parts. Total buying responsibility of 17 million dollars over six plants in the U.S. and Canada. Brought 115 tools into production over the last eighteen months. Facilitated consolidation of the supply base and helped develop Corporate Strategic Suppliers in each commodity.
