Daily Duties at 1st Medical Management:

During my tenure with PSPM, I worked closely with the COO to develop new facilities throughout California. This included assessing current needs and developing plans to address these needs. Once a plan had been finalized, I was responsible for implementing the plan. Duties included hiring personnel, negotiating contracts with landlords and contractors, developing site plans, and the overall supervising of the project. Once a new management team has been implemented, I then became the point of contact for all issues concerning the new office. Financial • Every quarter I orchestrated and prepared quarterly financials for twenty-five facilities. This included using the P&L’s from each practice to break down the important elements, such as FTE’s, revenues per patient, and expenses, into ratios that we used to asses the problem areas within each practice. I meet with the CFO, and the COO to work on ways to improve the operations and increase productivity. Administrator • I was the administrator for two facilities. My duties included doing the entire personnel task, i.e. hiring, discipline, etc. I was also responsible for most of the legal questions and problems that pertain to our type of practice. I had also developed specific written protocol for the operations of the practices, these included quality assurance programs and productivity standards.
